Compare pre-construction projects, side by side

Pick two or three real Findle projects and line them up on the same fields — headline price and its basis, deposits, occupancy, assignment, development charges, incentives and ongoing costs. Every project is judged on the same rows, so the differences you see are real differences, not different levels of detail.

What a comparison can — and cannot — tell you

It can tell you

  • Which project asks for less cash up front — and when each deposit cheque is due.
  • Whether a headline price already includes the HST rebate, or has HST on top. A price shown “net of HST rebate” already includes the relief: never add a further rebate to it.
  • Which closing dates, assignment terms and development-charge caps are actually published — and which are still unknown.

It cannot tell you

  • Which project is “best.” Best depends on your budget, timeline and whether you plan to live in the home or rent it out. This tool shows the trade-offs; the decision is yours.
  • What a home will be worth at closing. No comparison can promise appreciation, rent or a resale price.
  • Anything the builder has not published. Where a term is unpublished, the table says “Not published” — it never guesses a value to fill the gap.

Figures come from builder price lists, portals and broker releases as listed on Findle, and change without notice. The HST relief for new homes is government relief, not a builder incentive: the all-buyer enhanced relief (up to $130,000 combined, for agreements April 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027) is separate from the federal first-time buyer GST rebate (up to $50,000) and the Ontario first-time buyer provincial rebate (up to $80,000). Eligibility rules apply — confirm them with your lawyer and mortgage professional. The 10-day cooling-off right applies to new condominiums only (Condominium Act, 1998, s. 73); there is no statutory cooling-off period for new freehold homes.
