About pre-con in Toronto

Toronto counted 2,794,356 residents in the 2021 Census — up 2.3% from 2016 — and remains Canada's largest city. The pre-con market here is mostly condos: downtown towers and mid-rise buildings from Etobicoke to Scarborough, with townhomes in North York and the west end. Deposits are almost never published — none of Toronto's 132 listed projects carries deposit information in its record — so deposit structure, assignments and closing costs need a direct check with the builder.

MRKT Alexandra Park is the one Toronto project Findle can point to with builder-current pricing (see below). Everything else is shown as listed, and the lowest starting prices are directory figures that have not been individually verified against builder price lists — confirm the current price list with the builder before an offer.
