About Cachet Homes
Cachet Homes is a family-founded, fully integrated homebuilding and land-development company operating across Southern Ontario. Founded in 1981 by Anthony Auciello, the company began as a custom-estate builder in the Unionville area of Markham, initially operating as A. Auciello and Son Custom Homes, before adopting the Cachet Estate Homes name in 1985 while building luxury custom homes in Markham's Cachet Country Club area.
The company transitioned from custom estates to turn-key community development in 1994 and launched its first master-planned community, Olde Winchester, in 2001. Leadership passed from founder Anthony Auciello to his son Desi Auciello in 2004, and to current President Ramsey Shaheen in 2022. In 2008, Cachet created its sister company, Cachet Developments, to handle dedicated land development and planning.
Cachet rebranded from Cachet Estate Homes to Cachet Homes in 2020 and celebrated selling its 4,000th home that same year. In 2023, the company relocated its headquarters to Mississauga. Today, Cachet focuses on low-rise, family-oriented housing in master-planned communities across Southern Ontario, positioning itself on affordability and value in growing secondary markets. The company reported closing close to 700 homes in 2024 and described itself as the second-largest low-rise residential builder in Ontario.
